Full Stack Web Developer
 
Location: Jackson, Mississippi, United States
Full-time
We are searching for a full stack web developer to join our IT team. The position will be responsible for the development, modifications, and maintenance of our existing websites and internal applications as well as network/application security and some user support.
The successful candidate must display the ability to learn new skills and be able to work effectively with all areas of the company and proactively solve problems as they arise.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in website development
- Knowledge of SQL and database management best practices a must.
- Working knowledge of networks and networking concepts.
- Experience with PHP is a plus.
- Experience with XML/Soap/JSON a plus.
- Experience with ERP and eCommerce concepts is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively work with a variety of different levels of the organization
- Ability to express technical terms to non-technical audience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of programs
- Basic office and clerical skills, including experience with Microsoft Office software

The position is located in Jackson, Mississippi, and does not require travel. Normal working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Competitive salary with excellent benefits with a long-time stable company.
