Our Client in Jackson, Ms is looking for a Network Admnistrator.  This position works with a variety of technologies and has a diversified daily routine.
Salary is dependent upon experience. (Recruiter will discuss)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus at least 4 years previous IT network operations experience in a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of and experience with system administration, developing standards, LAN knowledge, proxy servers, etc.
• Excellent networking knowledge and skill, including network hardware configuration, network maintenance, network performance tuning, etc.
• Demonstrated success in an environment where high levels of multi-tasking are required.
• Seasoned working knowledge of all Microsoft Windows & Office technologies to include:
  • Windows Server OS (2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2)
  • Windows Desktop OS (7/8/8.1)
  • Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
  • SQL Databases (2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2/2014)
  • Exchange 2010
  • Internet Information Server (7.0/7.5/8.0)
  • Lync 2013
  • Office Suite (2010/2013)
  • Hyper-V & Clustering (2008R2/2012/2012R2)
  • Office 365
• Proficient with WAN/LAN topology, TCP/IP, Active Directory, as well as various telephone landline and wireless services & equipment support to include:
  • Sonicwall/Meraki Firewalls
  • Dell/HP/Meraki Switches
  • Meraki Wireless Access Points
  • Barracuda Technologies
  • MPLS, IPSEC, VPN
• Proficient in the use of the following creative technologies to include but not limited to:
  • Apple OS X (10.8/10.9)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Type-Font Servers
• Proficient in the use of the following development-operations technologies to include but not limited to:
  • Linux System Administration and Scripting Skills
  • Hosting Platform Experience (Heroku, AWS, Azure)
  • FTP/SFTP/SCP
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including automation and configuration management and high availability environments
  • Exposure to database technologies (HDFS, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Exposure to provisioning technologies and frameworks (virtualmin, puppet, check and ansible)
  • SSL provisioning and renewals
• Proficient in the use of the following other network operations tools to include but not limited to:
  • Backups & Disaster Recovery
  • Understanding of software development best practices
• Experience with end to end setup of DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls and Servers
